At Silver Circle Sports Events, all events are created under the guidance of experienced athletes and instructors with the goal of creating first-class, memorable and safe experiences. None of it is possible without the generous support of our sponsors, volunteers and most importantly our guests. Here are a few comments from our guests,
"I am the woman whose son you allowed to run the last race much later. He is two years old, little, you gave him a medal, he tripped a couple of times getting to the end while holding my hand and then tried to talk to you when you were giving him the medal...
Anyway, we drive from Madison to come so we wake him up super early, he climbs in the car in his pjs and then melts down halfway into our 75ish minute drive. On the way home he boycotts nap and then we do our best to enjoy the ride home if he melts down again :). Needless to say it is worth it. Griffy loves to wear the medals and he runs everywhere we go saying how fast he is going. We are grateful to have such a cool community to connect with every few weeks/month and to introduce our son to. Everyone is so kind, encouraging and supportive. Our lives are way too busy so I simply love having someone set a cool trail course from beginning to end, tell me to go in a fun way and then be able to run with people who challenge me without having to plan anything on my end.
It must be a lot of work for your and crew but thank you so much for bringing these people together." Rachel
"Your trail series is awesome due to MANY factors…well organized, awesome post race FOOD (not junk) and a great medal system….also…awesome Race director and staff…:>)" JC
"Thanks Sean, and your entire staff, for hosting one of the finest race events I've had the pleasure to participate in.....you rock....See you this winter for the snowshoe events and next year for another trail adventure!!!" Jeff C. - Wisconsin Trail Assail
"Atmosphere, awards, food, a concerted effort to cheer on all runners, and scenic courses to name a few, but please understand that I do not have the time to list all of the things that are great about the Trail Assail series. Silver Circle Sports Events puts on tremendously fun events that our entire family thoroughly enjoys." JH - Wisconsin Trail Assail runner
"I was very impressed by the course and especially how well the trail was marked. There was never any doubt where I should be going, unlike some trail races that I have done. You had great volunteers at the water stations as well as at the start/finish. I can't think of anything to improve since you also arranged for great weather". Regina - Wisconsin Trail Assail
"I just wanted to give you a thumbs up for putting on a great series of races. The locations have been fantastic, the volunteers have been awesome, the runner aid station at the finish line has always been top-notch, and the overall organization has been wonderful. Also, I really appreciate the family-friendly atmosphere I've experienced at each of the races. I'm sure a lot of work goes into making this happen and my hat's off to you for making it seem easy. Thanks." - U.L. Wisconsin Trail Assail
"Just wanted to drop you a note expressing how much I enjoy the race series. You put on a top notch show. Super well organized, great courses, excellent communication. Just perfect.” Doug, Wisconsin Trail Assail Series
“I thought the Mud Run course this year was fantastic and a lot muddier/dirtier than last year.” William - Dirty Dog Mud Run
“You have a nice little series here! I also like that you give discounts or free entry to those who have run other events of yours. I have asked other events if they would comp my entry in return for volunteering (and I’m not talking about a marathon or other expensive race where I’m asking for upwards of $60 to be comped) and I have universally been refused. I volunteer b/c it needs to be done, but it’s VERY nice to get something of value in return.
Your policy of allowing people to change races, etc., is very generous, and again, I know of no other race that does this.
I do want to say thanks again for a very, very nicely run series. I am NOT running the ________ Series (see above for why!) but I will surely be watching for YOUR series again next spring. I wish you great success w/your various endeavors!” Beth - Wisconsin Trail Assail Series
“Great ride! Thanks for organizing!” Brian - Crooked Path Bike Tour
“We did it last year and had a BLAST!!” Nicole - Mud Run
"Wow, I loved the course (I did the 10 miler)." Bonnie - Crooked Path Bike Tour
"Everyone I talk to at the races is super impressed with the series. We just need to get more folks to come out. It’s a shame that some stupid little 5k on boring paved roads draws more people." Steve - Wisconsin Trail Assail
"First, I'd like to say how much I enjoyed the Summitfest half marathon. It was my first time to your event and it was very well run, with a fun atmosphere. Secondly, the course was, as promised FLAT. Nicely done! Thanks for a fun event! I look forward to next year." Laura - SummitFest half marathon
"I have had the opportunity to work with Sean Osborne and Silver Circle Sports Events on multiple occasions, and Sean's level of professionalism and commitment to event safety is paramount. In addition to partnering with Silver Circle Sports Events to provide medical support at many of their events, the Dousman Fire District is grateful for Sean's support through his fundraising efforts for the fire department with the Frostbite Scramble event. We look forward to a continued partnership with Silver Circle Sports Events and providing medical support at future events." Steve Totzke, Fire Chief, Dousman Fire District
