Dirty Dog KIDS Mud Run
KIDS ONLY Dirty Dog Mud Run - July 13, 2013
This is a KIDS ONLY event. Just like the adult version of the Dirty Dog Mud Run, but toned down for the little ones. There is a 1 mile course for the puppies and a 3 mile course for the big kids. Don't worry parents, the course obstacles are all safe and the kids can skip them if they don't want to complete and obstacle. YES there will be plenty of mud so bring a change of clothes.
SummitFest
The Dirty Dog KIDS Mud Run is part of SummitFest. SummitFest is held annually in the Village of Summit and this year includes a 5K, 10K & 1/2 marathon road race, food, beverages, live music and baseball tournament. Come for the races, stay for the fun.

There will be plenty of water on the course in both bottle form and mud form. In addition, we will have IXL Sports Hydration drink at water stops.
Age Recommendation
We do not set a minimum age for the race. As parents, you know if you child is ready for a fun run like this. If you have a little one that wants to participate and my be a little timid, we suggest that he/she starts at the back. That way the older kids will be out of the way at the first obstacle and he/she can take their time.
Parent Assistance
Parents cannot run the race with their child. However, we understand that younger kids might need a little help and we encourage that. If Johnny needs a little help over an obstacle or through the mud then by all means feel free to help him. We only ask that parents not participate in the race.
We do have a wave at our September Dirty Dog Mud Run where parents and children can run together.
Packet Pick Up
You will be able to pick up your packet July 12th or race day at the park.
Awards
3 mile course - overall winner will recieve a 4 foot trophy.
All kids will receive a finishers medal.
Parking
Parking is available at Genesee Lake Road park.
Medical
We will have the Dousman EMS staff on site to address any injuries.
Directions
From I-94 Oconomowoc Exit South on Summit Ave Hwy 67 0.4 miles
Lake the 2nd right onto Delafield Rd at light 0.5 miles
Turn left onto Co Rd B/N Dousman Rd 1.1 miles
Turn right onto Genesee Lake Rd 0.3 miles
Park will be on your left.

Weather / Refund Policy
The event will be held rain, shine, snow or sleet unless severe weather occurs. In the event of severe weather, the race director may delay or cancel the event. If the event is cancelled, there will be NO refunds. Silver Circle Sports Events, LLC has a NO REFUND policy.
Volunteers
