The 5K course is filled with obstacles and mud. It is challenging enough to be difficult at times but doable at all times. Hey if you want to take a break, then do it. Want to take an extra minute to play in the mud with your team or an extra belly flop then do it. We don’t mind.
No fire, electrical shocks and it surely won’t be the toughest day of your life. But it will be full of mud, fun, music and beer. Did we mention the mud part?
Here at Dirty Dog, we don’t take ourselves to series and we hope you don’t either. Training is hard, exercising is challenging and every once in a while we all need a break. This is it! Take your time, have some fun and don’t take the run too serious. Hey we even have a beer stop on the course!
Why run if you can't enjoy the fruits of your labor? Running is hard and everyone deserves a party at the end. At Dirty Dog we do it a little different. Our post race party starts when we open the gates and stops when we turn off the lights. There will be music/bands food and beverages all day long.
All runners will get one free beer on the course. Additional food and beverages will be available for sale (a portion of all our profits go to help support our charity partners)
March 8th - Wave 5 & 10 only $30!
Want to run with your son, daughter or that kid that never seems to leave your house? We have one wave where adults and kids can run together. The wave will be the last wave prior to the kids event and will be the full course. The cost is $70 for both adult and child.
When registering you will need to enter all your information as the primary runner. You will then be asked for the Child's name. Please ensure you enter the Child's entire name so we can enter them into the runner database.
The wave is named Adult / Child Dirty Dog. Space is very limited so please register quickly.
Ok its not Halloween but everyone likes to wear a costume. Whether you run in your favorite super hero costume, your best Ms. Dirty Dog outfit or impersonate your favorite local sheriff, dress to impress!
Costumes are not required but there will be an award for best costume and besides when your girlfriend beats your time, you can blame it on the costume.
Want to run with your friends, co-workers or the in-laws? No problem. Putting together a team is easy and free. Just find 3+ people, pick a team name and register. When you click on register it will link you to the active.com registration site for the specific race. The page will look like this. Just follow the directions.
If you have a large team, 15+ we will print your team names on your Dirty Dog Mud Run shirt for free. Got 50 or more friends (facebook friends don't count), we can register your entire team in their own wave. Just contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can't find 14 other people, no worries. We will print your team name on the shirt for a small additional charge.
There will be plenty of water on the course. Water will be provided in cups at water stations, mouthfuls in the mud pits and even fire hoses at the end. In addition, we will have IXL Sports Hydration drink at water stops. Finally for our more recreational runners, we will have a beer stop for your encouragement. We hear that beer is good for hydration.
We guarantee you are going to get dirty, wet and full of mud. At each event we try to have at least 5 mud pits and usually there are a lot more. Don't worry, you can always rinse off with 55 degree well water from a fire hose. If the temp is chilly, we will have a warming tent for you.

Well you should. Training is hard, time consuming and lasts way to long. Racing should be fun and as such we don't take ourselves too seriously. Our events are based on runners having fun on the course and after the run. We design events that we want to do because like you we are runners. All of our events are focused on the safety of the athlete and ensuring our guest has an enjoyable event.
