Frostbite Scramble

The Frostbite Scramble is similar to a 9 hole golf scramble on frozen Silver Lake. "Golfers" use a tennis ball and are allowed to use any device to strike the ball from the ground. Teams are comprised of 2-5 golfers with a shotgun start.
What's the difference between a golf outing and a Frostbite Scramble?
- Its on ice
- Fire on the course
- The silence rule is forbidden
- Verbal heckling of other players is encouraged
- The beer is always cold
- Spectators are encouraged
- The number of clubs are not limitted
Course
Nine hole, par 35, 1400 yards. Hole distances vary from a 75 yard par 3 too a 200 yard par 5. Tee boxes are Astroturf and the green will be shoveled and relatively smooth. The remainder of the course is un-shoveled. Golfers must use a tennis ball (supplied) but can use any device to hit the ball provided it is hit from the ground.
T-Times
Burke's is the gracious host of the Frostbite Scramble. They will have bloody specials at check in and drink and food specials throughout the day. A buffet will be available at check in and after the scramble for only $10.00 (please select this option when registering on line).
