The $10.4 billion dollar, 16,848 employee United States Department of Labor defines Labor Day as:
Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.
At the Silver Circle Sports Events Department of Fun, we define Labor Day as:
The day that you finally get to race after months of long laborious runs, never ending sprints, ice baths, shin splint and laughable fartleks. Race day is the day that celebrates labor days.
Elite runners with a sub 16 minute 5K CC or sub 15.15 road in 2012 race for free. Email the race director with your 2012 times and courses for a free code. Free entries are limited and at the discretion of the race director.

Parking is available at picnic area 2.
There is a $4.00 entry fee per car or you can purchase a Waukesha County Park annual sticker. For information about purchasing a ticket see the Waukesha Country Parks website.
The event will be held rain, shine, snow or sleet unless sever weather occurs. In the event of severe weather, the race director may delay or cancel the event. If the event is canceled, there will be no refunds. Silver Circle Sports Events, LLC has a NO REFUND policy.
