SummitFest half marathon is one of the fastest and flattest courses in Wisconsin. New for 2014 it is on a closed course with additional support stations. The course has a little of everything. It begins at Genesee Lake Road Park along the tree lined Genesee Lake Road, passes Laura Lake and Golden Lake on rural roads before turning onto a the Glacial Drumlin Trail for a mile. Make the turn and run a negative split.
This course is FLAT! There is slight elevation change between mile 3 and 5 followed by a descent onto the Glacial Drumlin Trail.

The USATF certified 5K course is even flatter than the half marathon course. This is an out a back course starting at Genesee Lake Road Park and heading west along tree covered Genesee Lake Road before the turn around at Golden Lake Road.
Want something more than the 5K but not ready for a 1/2? Give the 10K run a shot. Just like the others distances, its flat and closed.
The race is chip timed by Your PR Timing & Event Management, LLC.
New for 2014, we have added the Dirty Dog Mud Run to SummitFest. The mud run is open to kids, adults and this year we even have waves where kids and adults can run together. Plus the slide and swing will be open to all waves just like adult Dirty Dog Mud Run.
This will be the ONLY Dirty Dog Mud Run in 2014 and space is limited.

We strongly suggest you pick up your packet the day before. It removes all the pre-race registration stress and you can focus on the run. If not, we suggest at least 45 minutes. Lines get very long race morning (not to mention the porta potties lines...). For the mud run, we suggest the same.
