Registration for the series opens December 9, 2013
Seven races over five months with a series ending championship. The races are held in Waukesha County and Wisconsin State Parks. All the races have 5K & 10K distances and three of the events have 1/2 marathon distances. Run/walk some or all of the races.
All of the races are held in Waukesha County or State Parks. The courses are on groomed, wide, scenic, tree lined trails.
The final course will be determined a few weeks prior to each event based on trail / park conditions and occupancy. Please note that the distances will not be exact as it is trail running.
To be eligible for the final championship awards, runners must have participated in four of the seven races. Awards will be based on a point system (1st place 10 points, 2nd place 9 points, 3rd place 8 points through 10th place). In the event of a tie, age will be the tie breaker with the oldest individual winning. All age groups are based on the age of the runner at the end of the year. Awards will be presented at the final race at Nashotah Park September 28.
Series runners will receive a custom Wisconsin Trail Assail Series finishers medal.
You can also save $20 off series registration if you choose not to receive a shirt at the events. We have capacity limits at each event. Once we reach that capacity we will close registration.
