January 17th - Part of Waukesha's Janboree! Canceled due to weather.February 14th - Nashotah Park Valentines Day Canceled due to weather.
All WWTA events have been canceled due to the lack of snow.
Come on out and watch three races in one day! No worries, there will be hot beverages available for spectators and athletes. If you get a little chilly, hang out by the bonfire and jam to the tunes. Our tent will be heated.
This is the ONLY time that snowshoes and fat tire bikes are allowed on the groomed ski trails in Waukesha County Parks.
All courses are on wide & groomed trails. There is room to pass on most of the course. Starts will be a mass start. If capacity warrants, wave starts will be implemented and racers will be notified prior to the event what wave they are assigned to.
If waves are implemented, race day entries will be assigned to waves on a first come first serve basis, regardless of estimated finish times. Preregistered athletes will be assigned waves based on estimated finish times.

So you want to snowshoe but don't know where to start? Here is a great article from Snowshoe magazine about getting started. What you have never snowshoed before? No worries.
Most define a fat tire bike as having 3.7" or larger tires and rims wider than 44mm. While the race is designated as fat tire races, you can ride what ever bike you would like as long as it has two wheels. If you want to ride your 1980 Schwinn or that fancy tri bike, more power to you (good luck).
The fat tire race will only be held at the Minooka race. If there is enough demand, we will add a race to Nashotah.
Helmets are required.
If you would like to race in multiple events, there will be an option to do so during registration for ONLY $10. You will use the same bib and number for each race.
We STRONGLY encourage you to register on line. There will be race day registration but capacity is limited for all events.
All races are chip timed by Your PR Timing & Event Management.
